Over the Horizon “Be the best that we can be: we are superwoman.” These catchy lyrics from Superwoman, sung by Titi DJ and Ashanty, accompanied by some fun dancing beats by Eka Gustiwana, have been my theme song well into 2022. Since its release at the end of last year, Superwoman has seen millions of views, and we are happy to present the trio for an exclusive January cover. Read on their stories inside, Beyond the Beats, where they discussed the messages and inspirations for the song. I especially love the theme of women empower- ment depicted in the video besides having the lines, “The world is our oyster, and we are the treasures.”Similar to how the diva Titi DJ and Ashanty are seizing the day and having a grand time is Svida Alisjahbana. Small in stature yet larger than life in personality, this dear friend of mine is unstoppable. Recently, she became the Head of the Permanent Committee for Gender Equality at the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce. Svida and her team at GCM Tatler Group are also the brains behind the continued success 8 of Jakarta Fashion Week, including its ingenious transition into the virtual realm for the past two years. Inside, she elaborated how these changes and incorpo- rations of technology help drive conversations forward. On another note, we present the gallery of our recent 21st-anniversary celebration in Bali: Tatler #kemBali. More than a party to relish over our milestones, this event was to show support for Bali’s revival in the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic. Tatler Indonesia also collaborated with Plastic Bank Indonesia to help manage the waste while educating others about the importance of recycling for the good of us all.
