As we navigate the challenges of climate change and environmental degradation, sustainability has become an urgent priority not just in Indonesia, but around the world. At Tatler Indonesia, we believe that it is our responsibility to raise awareness about sustainability issues and promote sustainable practices in everything we do.
In this issue, we are excited to feature articles that highlight the importance of sustainability in Indonesia, as well as the innovative ways in which individuals and businesses are working towards a more sustainable future around the world. From personalities that are making changes to the controversial human composting, these articles showcase the diverse and creative approaches being taken to address sustainability challenges in Indonesia and worldwide.
At the same time, we cannot ignore the global
nature of the sustainability crisis. Climate change and environmental degradation are problems that affect us all, regardless of where we live. That’s why we have also included articles that examine sustainability issues on a global scale, from the impacts of rising sea levels to the role of renewable energy in the transition to a low-carbon future.
As an editorial team, we are particularly passionate about empowering the youth to take action towards sustainability. The next generation will be the ones most affected by climate change, and it is essential that they are equipped with the knowledge and skills to make a difference. That’s why we have included articles that showcase the incredible work that young people are doing to promote sustainability in their communities for environmental justice.
We are committed to supporting and amplifying the voices of young sustainability leaders, not just in Indonesia but around the world. We believe that the youth have the power to drive positive change and make a real difference in the fight against climate change and environmental degradation.
