Vision of Future
Vision gives us a sense of purpose and guides us as we work in the present. In organizations, a vision statement articulates what the organization aspires to accomplish. Visionary people are big picture people. They do not get stuck with unnecessary details. When the vision is clear, the ultimate goal is also evident not only to you but also to those whom you lead. Despite being bombarded with information from multiple sources, we are able to filter through what is essential and what is not. Visionary leaders want to try new things, find new opportunities and know how to stay the course. Visionary leaders are natural pivoters and hold multiple perspectives. They can keep the big picture in mind but remain flexible in how to get there. A flexible mind helps them navigate challenges more effectively.
While investors focus on quantifying goals and deciding the “best” investments to make, we believe that financial values, commitment and vision have been the backbone of any financial journey, even though they were there subconsciously. With being a visionary in mind, comes forecasting the money we are making. Therefore we need a ‘money mission statement’.
A money mission statement helps align spending with one’s dreams and wishes when one asks the question of whether or not every expenditure one makes supports that money mission statement. Staying focused on your financial goals can be difficult. You know what they are. And you know you’ll be better off if you stick to them. But you also have a lot going on in your life. This statement helps you visualize your financial goals and reminds you why you’re looking to accomplish them. It describes what you want to attain financially and how you are going to produce your desired results.
