Whereas style relates to the individual and how they choose to interpret collective ideas of fashion in alignment with their personal expression. Sometimes our style reflects our culture. As for us Indonesians, we are blessed with cultural diversity, which can all be translated into our personal style. Cultural heritage is the legacy of physical artefacts and intangible attributes of a group or society that are inherited from past generations, maintained in the present and bestowed for the benefit of future generations. One of the heritages is batik. Fashion could be one of our ways to preserve our heritage.
