En los extremos vence el caos, edición 2.269 de Cambio16

Los extremos son terreno abonado para la violencia, la sinrazón, la exclusión y el totalitarismo, un campo de batalla donde la barbarie se bate de forma permanente y donde solo el caos puede vencer. El planeta, entendido como el lugar que habitamos y donde intentamos convivir, intenta recuperarse de una pandemia que llegó como un jinete apocalíptico, sembrando confusión y muerte. Hoy, aún conmocionado y aturdido, reflexiona sobre las razones que nos precipitaron a la catástrofe y cómo podemos sobrevivir a una destrucción a la que en ningún modo es ajeno el cambio climático, la pérdida de biodiversidad y la contaminación.
El editor de Cambio16, Jorge Neri, reflexiona en este número sobre el rumbo que debe tomar la sociedad una vez que se ha asumido que el cambio es necesario y urgente. La libertad, la justicia, la igualdad, la solidaridad, la sostenibilidad y el equilibrio no serán nunca posible desde la radicalización, la intolerancia y la intransigencia. La polarización es un cáncer político que ha hecho metástasis en cada uno de nosotros, anulando el diálogo y la capacidad de consenso y pacto, precisamente cuando es más necesaria.

“Si queremos construir un mejor mundo –afirma Jorge Neri– debemos aprender a identificar cualquier postura o bando extremo y rechazarla categóricamente. Permanecer en el medio nos permite mantener la cordura y dejar que nuestra acción sea producto del pensamiento y del corazón, no de las tripas ni de las vísceras”.
