Un mundo nuevo.

Si queremos que todo siga como está, es necesario que todo cambie. No hace falta ser el más
avezado lampedusiano para comprender que el gatopardismo es uno de los pilares básicos de la política en los tiempos que corren y sustenta la construcción de eso que los sociólogos han dado
en denominar el relato, una visión sesgada de la realidad que alimenta el bulo y la manipulación y los convierte en armas arrojadizas para la confrontación. Los estragos de la pandemia, el horror de las muertes inexplicables, el contagio vírico y el confinamiento parecen haber puesto fin a una época y anuncian, entre la incertidumbre y el miedo, una nueva normalidad en la que la raza humana por fin habrá comprendido que, de seguir así, consumiendo y agotando recursos como si no hubiese mañana, contaminando hasta hacer irrespirable el aire que exigimos y destruyendo la biodiversidad, un futuro apocalíptico pondrá fecha de caducidad a nuestra existencia.

Nos hemos acostumbrado muy pronto a un encierro obligado y vigilado para que cuando volvamos a la calle, así sin más, hayamos aprendido la lección y, como por arte de magia, hayamos cambiado, seamos distintos. Lamentablemente, estamos más cerca de un huxleyano mundo feliz.

En realidad, nos encontramos a medio camino entre la sociedad imaginada por Orwell, donde la libertad se encuentra secuestrada por quienes detentan el poder, y la de Huxley, donde la libertad no existe porque el ser humano es ya incapaz de concebir toda su complejidad.

It offers current news and analysis of the international, economic, energetic, technological, cultural and sports events, in addition to having the opinion of journalistic firms and following the trends that govern the style of modern life.
