In this issue

This issue of SIngapore Nautilus spotlights key developments within the bunkering industry. As the world's top bunkering port, Singapore has always taken the lead in improving standards within the industry. Since Jan 1, 2017, we became the first port to make the use of mass flow metering (MFM) systems mandatory for the delivery of marine fuel oil. Find out more in the main feature.
In this issue, we also had the honour of speaking to Mr Kitack Lim, Secretary-General of the International Maritime Organization (IMO), about his views on the industry and his vision for the IMO, as well as Ms Katy Ware, who is Director of Maritime Safety and Standards at the United Kingdom’s Maritime and Coastguard Agency, and the Permanent Representative of the UK to the IMO.
