Company Spotlight showcases the efforts of Tian San Shipping, which aims to combat plastic pollution in the marine environment. Safety is of utmost concern to all of us in the maritime industry, and this took on an added dimension with the arrival of the Coronavirus Disease 2019. The feature article examines how technology can empower safety, while Port & Starboard delves into how artificial intelligence and big data can improve safety and efficiency in the seas. This edition of Singapore Nautilus looks at the issue of gender diversity in Maritime Singapore and the important role that women play.
