Many times I’ve heard friends and business partners say that 24 hours in day is never enough. True, it’s so easy to get lost track of time when life throws you in the fast lane, and everybody is just rushing to get their work done. The beginning of the year 2015 felt just like that. Right after the year-end holiday break, I was already rushing to prepare myself for Paris Men’s Fashion Week in the middle of January. My creative director, Mitchell Nguyen McCormack, also got ready to fly all the way from Los Angeles to attend this momentous week for the global menswear industry. Yet all of a sudden, the Charlie Hebdo shooting happened. We were left dumbstruck, horrified; and also we wondered whether Paris would pause to mourn.
