INITIALLY REGARDED AS A HIDDEN GEM within Montblanc, Minerva is slowly returning to the forefront thanks to its recent repositioning.

Founded in 1858, the Swiss maison is renowned for its impeccable production of high-watchmaking pieces. Its ingenious craft and expertise made them a coveted name, ultimately leading to its acquisition by Montblanc and indirectly joining the Richemont Group in 2006. For 20 years, Minerva served as a high-horology specialist under the Swiss brand. Now, the Villeret-born watchmaker takes its first breath of new independence with four distinguished models under The Unveiled collection.

DOUBLE THE SECRET

One of Minerva's more regal creations is the Unveiled Secret, recognisable through its wine-red accents and skeletal dial. It comes in two variants. The solid 18K rose gold version is limited to 18 pieces and features Minerva's signature fluted bezel set with 84 brilliant-cut diamonds. The two-tone version comes with a solid 18K rose gold fluted bezel and a stainless steel case, offering a contrasting visual between warm and cool. This version is limited to 58 pieces. Within both variants beat the Calibre M13.26, a chronograph movement completely restructured to fit the 39mm case and reversed to face the front of the watch. Its redesign makes it another pioneering first for the Swiss maison.
