Offering comfort food that tastes as good as it looks
-

For new café owner, Beatriz Melendres, the road to a successful food business wasn’t in culinary arts or mastering the art of cooking at a young age. Sometimes, following your passion— even if you have to start from scratch—is enough to become a good cook, and an even better baker. Bea’s passion for baking didn’t start until after she graduated from college. A self-taught baker, she studied at CCA (Center of Culinary Arts), where she met a lot of people and made lasting connections, one of whom eventually helped her start her business as a dessert supplier.
