What is real? How do you define real? If you're talking about what you can hear, what you can smell, taste and feel, then real is simply electrical signals interpreted by your brain. - Morpheus (The Matrix)

Neil Nitin Mukesh
How Was Life Growing Up in Limelight?Being Mukesh’s grandson and Nitin Mukesh’s son, I remember being the centre of attention even as a three year old toddler. I was four years old when Yash uncle (Yash Chopra) telephoned my father and informed that he was doing a film called Vijay and that he wanted me to play junior Rishi Kapoor. “Lights, camera, action,”- those magical words continue to ring in my ears. When I read in a newspaper that Anupam Kher was starting an acting workshop, Dad spoke with Anupam uncle to ask him for his guidance because he thought I was too young. Anupam uncle said that it’s never too early nor too late.
Tell us about your journey.Neha: I would describe it as a rather interesting journey exploring an absolutely foreign land. Film industry was absolutely an alien world for me and hence it took a while for me to understand the functioning of this industry and then slowly becoming a part of it. It’s definitely been a long struggle but I look back at this journey with pride and a feeling of self-worth as I have achieved everything that I have, all on my own and on my own terms without any compromises and it's a beautiful feeling.
From Karenjit Kaur Vohra to Sunny Leone, was the journey smooth or a rough one?Well, it hasn't been all roses but it's been an amazing learning experience. I have had more good times than bad and I love my career. I feel very fortunate to have accomplished what I have.
Tell us more about your journey from beauty pageants to music albums to Bollywood. I would like to thank my destiny for whatever I am today. It actually feels exhilarating! After winning several beauty pageants, call from Bollywood raised my spirits. Destiny is working its way and I look forward to more promising days ahead. Touchwood! (smiles)
From a lean avatar to a super chiselled body – tell us more about it.I have been into fitness and physical training all my life. I always aspire to look better and have a better shape
How has Bollywood treated you so far?I am extremely grateful and overwhelmed by the love and acceptance I have received in South Indian cinema. Bollywood felt comfortable from day 1 considering Hindi is my language. I’ve always wanted to do meaningful cinema in any language and I’ve been selective about my scripts, keeping a balance of Hindi, Telugu and Tamil films. In totality, Indian cinema is in a great space and I’m very happy to be a part of it.
