Great South West promotes region's nuclear potential at Westminster

THE Great South West Partnership has marked the official launch of ‘A New Nuclear Future) a new report positioning the region at the heart of the UK’s next phase of nuclear energy investment, during a high-profile Westminster reception attended by parliamentarians, Government officials, industry leaders and investors.

Hosted in partnership with EDF Hinkley Point C, SEC Newgate, Equilibrion, and Nuclear South West, the reception showcased the Great South West’s unique capabilities in nuclear - spanning civil and defence deployment - across the full project lifecycle, from project conception to commercialisation and decommissioning. These capabilities place the region in prime position to secure and accelerate delivery of the UK's energy security, clean power growth, and its economic growth ambitions.
