Nissan backing promotional motoring Expo

A leading automotive body - led by a South Tyneside-based chairman - will be backed by Nissan when it holds a major promotional event.
The Sunderland car maker has agreed to be a headline speaker at the North East Automotive Alliance’s (NEAA) Expo 2026 show in September.
The NEAA has heralded the firm’s participation as a “major addition” to its programme and a reflection of the strength of the region’s automotive cluster.
Attendees will gain key insight into the motor industry from Nissan, which is marking 40 years of operations on Wearside.
