He was part of the team which transformed Georgia into a liberal fast growing economy. Georgia and Sri Lanka are almost similar in terms of GDP per capita; the two countries have much to learn from each other.
Sri Lanka Telecom (SLT), the telecommunication giant of Sri Lanka has been in the industry for nearly 150 years and as the country is undergoing rapid development, the Group is gearing up to perform its share in realising the country’s vision of becoming the Wonder of Asia. Lalith De Silva, the first Sri Lankan CEO of SLT post privatisation shares his views.
Farid T Salem, Executive Officer of CMA CGM, the third largest shipping company in the world, was present in Colombo to participate in the inauguration of the new Breakwater and the Colombo International Terminal. He revealed the opportunities that Sri Lanka may have with these new developments and the importance of capturing opportunities that come our way.
