Dr P B Jayasundera, Secretary to the Treasury and Secretary, Ministry of Finance and Planning, continues to stress the positive progress made by Sri Lanka despite challenges. He was part of the team which transformed Georgia into a liberal fast growing economy. Georgia and Sri Lanka are almost similar in terms of GDP per capita; the two countries have much to learn from each other.
