Magazine Description

In this issue

A nightmarish year has passed away and we welcome 2021 with full of hope. We anticipate the virus that made all of us kneel down -namely the coronavirus- will gradually be vanished. We are all going to see and enjoy the days where the music sector will be out of the woods and will see sunny days. This issue hosts Asu Maralman whose art carreer went beyond a half century. In the interview she talked about her memories, experiences and dreams. Moreover, a famous artist Ross Daly analysed “Labyrinth Online” which is the most important online musical education platform of the world by revealing their work and answering the frequently asked questions about Labyrinth. What we all know is music is a beyond-border tool. This issue also contains the story of Serenin whose roots date back for centuries and it is a pure example of international musical interaction. The project "Common Musics of Genoa and the Black Sea" under the leadership of Davide Baglietto and Edmondo Romano will undoubtedly make its mark as well. In addition, a Turkey-lover and a grammy-awarded musician Maya Asucena talked about her new project and her observations over Turkey. Finally, this issue will also include: an up-and-coming musician Merve Akyıldız, a Turkish music history master Refik Hakan Talu and "Musixen" which is a life-saving application for musicians during the pandemic thanks to its ability to create new income sources.
