For the Dec-Feb issue going into 2018, ​Art Republik​ dives deep into the act of collecting, from personal to institutional levels, including archiving challenges and possibilities in the digital age.

In issue 20, ‘Emergence’, we look at the rise of emerging artists in Asia and across the globe, as well as the emergence of changes in the art market landscape. From cryptocurrencies to destruction adding value to art, we explore emerging trends and whether or not they’ll stick around.

Breaking Boundaries', celebrates the pioneering spirit in the art world, and finds out about those who have surpassed limits and set benchmarks for others to follow.

In the Spring issue, themed "The A Team", we examine collective efforts that have changed the way things are done to surprising result, from artist collectives to boutique art agencies.

Our Autumn 2017 issue looks at rebels with a cause, from supporters who champion fledgling artists to socially motivated endeavours facilitated by art.

Our Summer issue looks at relationships, alliances and collaborations that generate bold ideas and chart new paths.

With the theme ‘Crossover’, the stories in the issue celebrate the openness and achievements of the people who embrace new fields, styles and ideas to make art. A special feature reveals the sources of inspiration five Southeast Asian artists look to, including Robert Zhao Ren Hui, Eiffel Chong Alwin Reamillo, Zoncy and Anon Pairot.

Following the theme “Young, Wild & Free”, the latest issue of ART REPUBLIK explores independent youth in Southeast Asia’s visual arts roster. Our cover artist this issue is an artist a rebel heart, Indonesia’s Uji 'Hahan' Handoko, who is always pushing boundaries of what is possible, with constant humour in delivering messages that challenge unjust social norms, within an unfair social system in his home town. Alongside, we have features on Donna Ong and her latest collaboration with NUS Museum; Robert Zhao returns from Christmas Island with new works for his participation in the upcoming and acclaimed Sydney Biennale 2016; and fellow local artist to our cover star, Eko Nugroho, one of Indonesia’s most successful artists of all time, speaks to us about his illustrious oeuvre.

Issue 6 - The latest issue of ART REPUBLIK comprises stories that guide you into the exclusive world of blue chip art, from an introductory overview of the blue chip art world and all its players; to another on the considerable impact the presence of the auction house has on the art world; to a current list of the top 10 most expensive contemporary artworks sold by living artists; to profiling eight of the world’s top blue chip artists including Jeff Koons, Zeng Fanzhi, Tracy Emin, Takashi Murakami, Gerhard Richter, Cindy Sherman, Yayoi Kusama and Andreas Gursky.
