Bhopal-based contemporary artist Anjali Prabhakar’s novel artwork series vocalizes the 
theme of “Meet Yourself ” emphasizing the message of “You are your own best friend for life.” Notations on Time  is a group exhibition that explores the  philosophical and political dimensions of time through the works of 20 contemporary artists from South Asia and its diaspora. Curated by Sandhini Poddar and Sabih Ahmed, the exhibition stages a dialogue between artistic generations 
to highlight entanglements between the past and future.

The term 'bigger picture' evokes a  certain response, which furthers  the visual experience of a viewer by plunging the image into their minds, frenetically trying to draw parallels and meanings, in essence, to make sense of it. However, there is a difference .

The paintings artist  Paramesh Paul with no  formal training never fail  to amaze, with their vivid 
vibrancy and deep spiritual  appeal. Born in West Bengal in 1970, in a family of  traditional potters, he grew  up sculpting the Divine in clay and terracotta.

bounds or limitations to  the free flow of thoughts  and energies. Drawing 
upon new shades of in her solo exhibition titled “Different Strokes 2023” from February 24-27, at Lokayata Art  Gallery, Huaz Khas, New Delhi . Vibrant colours with bold  strokes, adding new layers of visual appeal to the  magnetic charm, sense  of peace and grace. 

Camel Art Foundation  in association with Sir J.J.  School of Art, Mumbai  had organised an art camp 
titled “AJANTA 2022-23”  from 15th Nov.- to 18th  Nov. 2022 at Ajanta (Maharashtra) on the occasion of Camel Foundation’s Silver Jubilee.
Sculptor Sonali Maitre  Paul's Sculpture are  one of it's kind. She  has exhibited her art  at various platforms  throughout country.
The strength of Sandesh Khule’s  paintings resides first and foremost in their self-containment.

Exploring divinity with colour therapy, we  are now gradually moving  towards chakras on the upper half of the body - right  from the heart chakra or the  Anahata chakra represented by colour green, then the  Vishuddhi chakra at throat  represented by colour blue  (royal blue), and further towards the center focal point  between the eyebrows (Ajna  or the third-eye chakra).

DR KAVERI VIJ TO PRESENT ABSTRACT LANDSCAPE PAINTINGS IN NEW SOLO SHOW 
Dr Kaveri Vij is set to present her  solo show of recent  paintings, titled ‘Enormous’, at the Lalit Kala 
Akademi from 1-7  January 2023. Her abstract landscapes perfectly depict why she remains a sought-after  artist from the hinterland of India, as  her original artworks  carry the essence of 
the flora found abundantly in the country.

The 2nd Edition of India  Art Festival (IAF) in the  city starting from December 08 – 11 at the Palace 
Ground, Kings Court, Gate No.5, Bellary Road, is  grown in scale and size this  year, bringing cutting-edge  contemporary art to the  city, presented by over 30  Art Galleries and 450 artists, coming from 40 different cities across India,  Singapore and USA.

An upcoming exhibition  titled Colour Symphony  by art lover, artist and  color science seeker Dr. 
Bharti Sharma is all set  to mesmerize art lovers in the Capital with  Color conceptual paintings, Color talks, Color  meditations and more exploring the relationship between colour  and healing. Scheduled  to take place from 26  November 2022 - 1st  December 2022, this  exhibition is a one-of its-kind solo art exhibition connected with  colour healing and therapy. For instance, while 
red infuses energy into  the human mind, green  is a relaxing and calm  colour. The exhibition 
is the outcome of her elaborate work with  colours as mediums of  catalysing healing and 
promoting health. Dr.  Sharma is also working  on mental health and  its impact with amazing 
color science.

A national level group art event Artival 2022 is being held at Expo Centre, World Trade Centre, Cuffe Parade, Mumbai on 11th, 12th and 13th Nov., 2022. It will showcase about 3000 artworks created by 300 artists from various regions of our country under one roof. The vivid participating artists are from different regions of the country having diverse backgrounds and culture. It
is the intense urge of these artists to display their artworks along with those of master artists on a common platform in order to reach the prospective art collectors.

Bhopal-based contemporary artist Anjali Prabhakar, who is known for her thought-provoking paintings on the relationship between men and women, is participating in the Bharat
Ki Kala Art Expo 2022 bythe Generation Art Foundation from 13th-16th October, 2022 in Nehru Centre, Worli, Mumbai. A passionate artist since 1994, Prabhakar’s oil canvasses act as windows into the spiritual and emotional connection between the two genders. Her style is figurative with
elements of abstraction and imagination fused into it. As a visual artist with multiple muses, Prabhakar also likes to take inspiration from Gond folk art for her creations. Viewers and art lovers will be able to catch works done in the signature style of the artist, at the grand-scale expo. She also sensitively portrays the incarnation of women embodied in various forms, using rich deep tones to give her painting a strong visual appeal. Prabhakar has also participated in the official attempt of
a Guinness World Record. 

Two Nepalese artists bring out the river cities' hymn through canvasses .Bringing the serene tranquillity of spiritual cities through a series of prints and oil paintings, two renowned Nepalese artists — Uma Shankar Shah and Seema Sharma Shah — are exhibiting at Mumbai’s Jehangir Art Gallery from September 26 - October 2, 2022, from 11AM - 7PM. 
Titled ‘Hymn of the River Cities’, the exhibition offers a unique multitude of artworks around Hindu and Buddhist mythologies, Hindu temples, Buddhist stupas and pagodas.
One of the most prominent and widely-exhibited artists in Nepal, Uma Shankar Shah’s works are modernist renditions of the forms and contents of early Nepali religious and folk arts and they depict the image of nature and Hindu mythologies appealing for the preservation of cultural heritage of Nepal. His cityscapes have myriad faces of the city abstracted and merged together in a symphonic form. In this exhibition, his works bring an air of mysticism, and religious and folk culture done intricately and painstakingly over two different mediums — bringing forth the Hindu heritage of Nepal through art.  His co-exhibitor and one of the finest contemporary print makers in South Asia, Dr Seema Sharma Shah brings to Mumbai her unique artistic contemplations on Banaras, the city she was born in. In this exhibition, she showcases her recent work on the city of Banaras, a city she was raised in and remembers fondly. The ghats, temples, boats, sacred waters of Ganges and the spiritual skyline of Varanasi come alive in exhilarating detail in her works.

Bharati Shah, an Ahmedabad-based senior artist,  is set to bring her oeuvre of distinctive abstract 
paintings to Mumbai’s  prestigious Jehangir Art  Gallery for a solo exhibition from September 5-11, 
2022. Shah is a self-taught  painter with more than 20  years of art practice and  many group and solo art  exhibitions under her belt. With bright and even fluorescent colours on her palette, she concentrates on  cubism in her art, where  she fragmentizes her canvasses and brings out the 
two-dimensionality of the  surface. There is another element, however, that viewers will find in all of Shah’s  paintings. “I cannot complete a painting without  a circle, it is my muse and  represents celestial bodies such as the moon, sun  or earth,” says the artist. A lifelong learner with an unwavering commitment to renew her work, Shah  also experiments with several mediums, such as oil, watercolour, acrylic, digital,  glass, and wood.

Mumbai city will soon be  witness to a solo exhibition  of paintings by renowned  artist Arti Sharma, who  hails from the art hub of  Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh.  Set to present her art on  the walls of the prestigious  Jehangir Art Gallery from  August 30 to September 5, 2022, Sharma’s abstract 
work is an example of artistic brilliance perfected over 25 years. She has not only collected praise and accolades for her own art practice, but serves the art community as a senior teacher at Bhopal’s Campion School. On display would be vibrant specimens of knife painting done in abstract style, as well as mediums such as charcoal, oil  colour and water colour.

The India Art Festival (IAF)  – a contemporary art fair  hosted annually in New  Delhi & Mumbai since  2011 is presenting its debut edition in association  with Karnataka Chitrakala Parishath from 05 to 08  May 2022 at Karnataka Chitrakala Parishath ArtComplex, Kumara Krupa  Road. The Art Festival will  be starting with VIP preview on 05 May 2022 from 1.00pm to 8.30pm for invitees and it will be open for  public from 06 to 08 May  2022 from 11.00 am to 8.00  pm daily. Festival is free. Around 25  art galleries are showcasing  100 master artists artworks along with 300 mid-career and emerging artists, showcasing 3000 works of art displayed through 80 booths. Kolkata-born artist, Ujjwal  Das’ creations reverberate divinity by exploring the colour  palette and drawing inspiration from various folk art  forms such as Madhubani,  miniature and Jamini Roy’s 
works. He goes on to add a touch of modernity to bring a  sense of exquisiteness. Hailing  from a creative family, art was  no stranger to Das. He grew  up imbibing various art forms from childhood, and also  served advertising agencies  at various levels in his career.  Among his several other credits, Das was awarded by the MoEF (Ministry of Environment & Forest) in June 1993, 
and INTACH (Indian National Trust for Art & Cultural  Heritage) award in December  1999. He has exhibited his artistic works at group shows, as  solo exhibits and conducted  many art workshops through  CASP-Plan Delhi (an NGO).  Gallerie Ruki presents a solo  exhibit by artist Ujjwal Das 
titled “Essence of Colours” at  15, Hauz Khas Village in New  Delhi from April 15 to April

edition in New Delhi from  06 January 2022 at Constitution Club of India, Delhi.  It will continue till 7th April  2022. The exhibits will be  on display from 11.00 am  to 8.00 pm daily except the  first day when they can be  previewed from 1.00 pm to  8.00 pm. Around 450 artists represented by 25 art 
galleries as well as independent artists are presenting  3500 works of art displayed through 80 booths. The six editions at New Delhi and  ten years in Mumbai establish the popularity of India 
Art Festival - a mixed art  fair module wherein art  galleries as well as independent artists are invited

Art Centrix Space is delighted to be launching  BRINK curated by Monica  Jain, their first exhibition of  the season, on 10th March  2022.
