1. The cover story deals with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi's performance at the end of the first 100 days of his assuming office. Though the man at the top is steering forward with optimistic plans and pragmatic targets the performance seems to be not up to the mark as for as the first 100 days are concerned.

2. Tamilnadu Cheif Minister J.Jayalalitha has been unanimously elected for the consecutive seventh time as the leader of All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam party which she represents rigth fromt the day she entered politics. Though this is seen as an humungous achievement that too by a female politiician in the history of post colonial India, the negative side of the story is whether the iron lady has failed to identify the second rung leader who will be able to lead the party structure in her absence. This question looms large with the verdict by a Bangalore court on the disproportianate assets case pending against her is expected to be pronounced on September 20. This is a special coverage of India Today Tamil, that includes guest columns by eminent journalists Gnani and Murari.

3. The private Omni bus fares in operating in Tamilnadu have increased the ticket rates once again citing variosu reasons. The bus owners are also alleged to be exploit festival and holiday rush and charge tickets at rate that is two to three times more that the announced rates. Voice is being raised by conusmers, activists and even politicians for a Goernmental body to regulate Omni bus fares, like the case of Autos. A special story analyses this.

4. Kabadi a local and ancient game of the country is gainign National and International prominence thansk to Bro Kabadi League which is a format based on Like the Indian Premier League for Cricket.
