We are glad to bring out our last edition of the year of Vedayu - Health with Ayurveda Magazine!

It has been a fabulous year for us with all the love and support we have seen from our patrons - an ever increasing subscription and readership ratings, continued support from our sponsors and valuable addition to our team with Dr. Sanjay Chajjed and Dr. Vishnu Bawane joining our editorial board. We sincerely hope that this journey continues with the same zeal, growth and upscale in the new year.

In this edition, we have primarily focused on one of the most prevailing but not-so-often discussed topic of “Mental Health and Wellness”. Mental Health, which we all know is a very important part of ones overall wellness quotient, which is required not only for a successful personal and professional life but also helps shape ones social and emotional character of a person. Today we are facing an ever increasing incidence of suicide, depression and related issues driven by various socio, economic and personal factors. However the society is still reluctant to view and discuss mental health and wellness problems as openly as they do about their other health problems.

We have therefore taken up this topic to showcase that mental health issues are not just a modern era problem but has been prevalent since ages with it’s reference and remedies being mentioned in various ayurveda texts and literature’s. Accordingly, we bring to you this edition of Vedayu Health with Ayurveda where we have tried to explain these references in simple terms and also explain some age old remedies for
some of the most common mental health problems prevalent in our modern day lives, namely - Insomnia, Fatigue and Stress.

We hope that you like and appreciate this edition as you have loved our earlier editions. We also wish all our readers a very happy and healthy 2020!
