February sees the city celebrating a month of romance before welcoming the new lunar year on February 19th. We explore the lesser known a districts of Singapore, Katong and Joo Chiat, enjoy the Malay culture in Kampong Glam, then visit the exceptional Botanic Gardens which are not just full of plants but full of history as well.

In September, the city will then host the most dynamic race in the F1 calendar, the 2016 Formula One Singapore Airlines Grand Prix. This long weekend of racing, live music and more, held from September 16-18, is the most anticipated event of the year and should not be missed. Entertainment planned for this year's race includes live performances from Kylie Minogue, Bastille, Pentatonix and Queen with Adam Lambert, so there’s lots to look forward to, both on and off the track.

In our fashion focus, Michelle Yee talks to homegrown Singaporean designer Danelle Woo about the local fashion scene and her popular label Aijek, while we learn about The Affordable Art Fair through an interview with Fair Director Alan Koh. April will also be a big month for sports lovers as the city welcomes the HSBC World Rugby Sevens Series to the Sports Hub for the first time.
