November is always a special month for Indonesia Tatler since it marks our anniversary: we’re 16 this year! As such, we’ve put together a bumper issue for you this month—more than 200 pages of society faces, news, views, dazzling fashion, tempting travel destinations, delicious dining reviews and more.
This month, the magnificent Mesty Ariotedjo graces our cover along with a pachyderm pal—and we couldn’t resist tying the two together by referring to Mesty’s “mammoth” achievements: as a doctor, as a charity supporter and as a classical musician. Food is also always on our minds, and this month, we focus on the newly opened Sea Grain Restaurant & Bar at Doubletree by Hilton Jakarta, which is located slap-bang in the middle of Jakarta’s central business district, as well as Plaza Indonesia’s very own La Moda, which is now offering a lovely Sunday High Tea menu.
