LICENCE REVIEW AT MAYFLOWER ST VENUE
The 'N' Joy bar in Mayflower Street WILLIAM TELFORD
(WILLIAM TELFORD)
THE owners of a Plymouth bar are stressing they are doing everything they can to keep noise to a minimum as its licence is put under the spotlight.
An application has been made to review the premises licence at 'N' Joy, in Mayflower Street, because of the amount of noise coming from the bar when it stages entertainment.
Plymouth City Council's website said the review is because the volume of noise is at a level that is "having a negative impact on the license objective for the prevention of public nuisance".
