Ree's inspiration for a clothing collection came to her early in life. "When I was 3, I had a dress that was, prophetically, a red bandana print with a smocked bodice, ruffled sleeves and a prairie skirt," she says. "I've always loved cute clothes!" The budding fashionista went on to win Best Dressed in seventh grade and launched The Pioneer Woman clothing line with Walmart in December 2020. It sold out within days. From the start, Ree's goal was to offer "pretty, easy, comfy, flirty and flowy clothes" at real-life prices for real-life bodies (sizes range from S to XXXXL). The fall offerings include plenty of Ree's trademark blousy tops, tunics and dusters, plus new additions such as handbags, sleepwear and outerwear.
