Congress is in sex-ssion! Politicians are accused of misconduct and more

CONGRESS has devolved into a cesspool of slimeballs running amok and sexually harassing staffers, pocketing cash and shamelessly misbehaving under the protection of fellow politicians who disgracefully turn a blind eye to the abuse on Capitol Hill, sources allege to GLOBE.

The House Ethics Committee recently released a list of 27 members of Congress investigated by the panel starting in 1976, following the uproar over Democrat Eric Swalwell of California and Republican Tony Gonzales of Texas, who were recently forced to resign for having relations with staffers and others. (Swalwell has denied all allegations; Gonzales initially denied allegations of an extramarital affair with a staffer, Regina Santos-Aviles, who died by suicide in September 2025, but he later admitted to the relationship, calling it a “lapse in judgment.”)

The disgraced pair — both married — are joined by Democrat Sheila Cherfilus-McCormick of Florida, who resigned while facing criminal charges of stealing $5 million in federal disaster funds (which she denies), and Republican Cory Mills, also of Florida, who, as of press time, is refusing to step down following allegations of sexual misconduct and “dating violence” along with campaign finance chicanery. (Mills also denies any wrongdoing.)
