PRINCE HARRY and wife Meghan are secretly making moves to flee to Australia to escape the unwelcoming Hollywood scene and weasel their way back into paid roles as working royals, sources say.

The spendthrift Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s eight-year marriage seems to be teetering on the brink of collapse after their reported $100 million Netflix deal ended last year and Meghan’s podcast pursuits dried up, sources spill.

Now, spies say Harry, 41, and Meghan, 44, are seriously considering putting down roots in the Commonwealth nation, whose sovereign is King Charles, the duke’s dad.

According to tipsters, an Aussie move would be a win-win as it would allow the Sussexes a face-saving way of leaving private life and returning to the British royal family’s fold, while keeping their distance from Harry’s unforgiving older brother, Prince William, and the future king’s wife, Princess Kate.

“Prince Harry feels comfortable in Australia and believes the country could offer the Sussexes a ‘fresh start,’” writes royal expert Chris Riches. “So, Australia looked like fertile ground for the Sussexes and ripe for a return.

“Meghan has also shown an interest in expanding her business ventures in Oz.”
