Situated in the heart of the city at Mavoor Road, BCA Architecture delivers architectural solutions for all types of projects including traditional/ contemporary style residences. With a unique combination of resources, skills and vision, he often draws inspirations from the spectacular land scenario of Kerala and the architect in him steps into the spirit and character of the Kerala style of architecture. Practicing traditional vernacular architecture which features heavy use of craftsmanship, his designs and products are more the work of the craftsman than of the architect. His recent works are interpretations of the traditional Kerala style with their sloping roofs laid with Mangalore pattern tiles and plastered walls rendering a feeling of timelessness leading you to a bygone era. His residences, condominiums/apartments, commercial complexes etc strikes a chord between architecture and people. Hospitality Design That Encourages Social Interaction Over Food

REDPAN began with a simple wish to share good food in a good setting, a ‘living room’ that nurtures interaction and creativity, where ideas can be exchanged over a casual, convivial meal. From the observation that DP’s own architects and stafflike to hold informal work discussions at cafes near the office, the architecture firm conceived REDPAN as an exercise in building camaraderie in an urban environment where the line between work and play is increasingly blurred.

A Storage Space Converted Into A Beautiful Showroom For Stones

The architecture firm Atelier Alter converted a storage space into a stone archive, showcasing the diversities of stone craft. Stones being the most primitive construction material, stone come with dignity and authenticity. The project was started after imagining the meter high storage space into a complete piece of stone. The volume of the stone was dissected with angular plates. The firm created solid and void spaces: while solids are for exhibition, meeting and archive spaces, the voids become the circulation. The cutting plates are also materialized as different stone shelves for the separation and mediation between spaces.
