A WOMAN has appeared in court accused of causing a head-on crash in Northumberland, which left a motorist with serious injuries.

Carol Butts was behind the wheel of a Nissan X-Trail involved in a collision with an Audi Al on the A69 in Blenkinsopp.
‘The driver of the Audi, awoman in her 30s, was taken to hospital with serious injuries after the collision, which happened between Haltwhistle and Greenhead, just before 8.15pm on March 26 this year.
