Mr Daniel Ng, 28, is preparing for the Hyrox championships in June by doing strength training and cardio.

He has to squeeze in workouts at a gym either before or after his shifts as a staff nurse at the ambulatory treatment unit of National Cancer Centre Singapore.
"I signed up for Hyrox because I wanted to see where I stand and how my training translates into the competitive scene," he says. "It gives me something to look forward to."
