Saints set to pay £12m for Azaz

SOUTHAMPTON are understood to have concluded their pursuit of Middlesbrough star Finn Azaz, with the clubs agreeing a fee that will see the forward head to the south coast.

It's understood that the Saints will pay £12m for the 24-year-old, who has enjoyed a good spell at the Riverside Stadium, with further add-ons taking the deal to £15m.

Southampton have been linked with Azaz for a little while and, on Tuesday, it emerged a deal was edging closer, with reports that agreement has now been reached and Azaz has played his final game for Rob Edwards’ side.
