THE funeral of an alleged murder victim will take place today.
Mohammed Shaan Ali Rasul, who was known as Shaan, died in an incident on Allerton Close in the Dyke House area of Hartlepool on November 23.
Cleveland Police officers and paramedics attended the street just before 10.45am and a large cordon was in place over the following days.
Now, Shaan’s heartbroken family are preparing to lay the 23-year-old to rest. Brother Ali Rasul confirmed the funeral will take place at the mosque on Hartlepool’s Murray Street.
At 1.30pm they will make their way to Stranton Cemetery. The family has asked that those attending wear black.
