STUART KETTLEWELL insists star man David Watson has a massive future ahead of him after playing a starring role in Kilmarnock’s first league win of the season.

The midfielder put in an all-action performance to help Killie take all three points at Dundee United, thanks to goals from Bruce Anderson and Robbie Deas.

It was Kettlewell's first league win as Killie manager and he admitted his Scotland Under-21 ace was a standout.

Kettlewell, who nurtured Lennon Miller through at Motherwell, said: “He is a breath of fresh air.

“He epitomises what we are trying to build with his spirit and it is in that double tackle he goes into at the end.

“That epitomised his performance, it just gives everybody a lift.
