- FROM ADAM HATHAWAY IN DUBLIN

FINN RUSSELL has buried the hatchet with Johnny Sexton but reckons he never had any beef with thell Irish legend anyway.

Sexton, an assistant coach with the British and Irish Lions, and Russell shook hands on Monday when the Scotsman joined the tourists in Dublin after Bath's Premiershi winning celebrations.

Sexton used his recent autobiography to describe the fly-half as "flashy and not Test match animal like Owen Farrell but Lions boss Andy Farrell negotiated a truce.

Russell insists he never had a gripe with Sexton and is tapping into his knowledge dil how to win in Australia - which the Irishman did in 2013.

Russell said: "It's just a bit of a craic I suppose - it was never a thing. When we came in we had a laugh straight away an Andy kind of put it to bed s that was good.
