Hibs manager believes Tannadice draw sets his side up for capital crunch
-
DAVID GRAY was disappointed to leave Tannadice with just a point but reckons it can set Hibs up for some festive cheer in the capital derby.
The Easter Road side had to come from behind after Luca Stephenson's opener to rescue a draw through Martin Boyle’s strike.
Boss Gray believes that has set them up nicely for the visit of city rivals Hearts on Saturday.
He said: “It probably feels a bit disappointing because we've not put in the complete performance that we're capable of but it’s a difficult place to come and we need to take the point and move on quickly.
“You want to go in (to the derby) in the best possible form you can but I would also caveat that by saying that form goes out the window at times in derbies.
“I've certainly played in enough of them where it's not always the team that’s in form who wins them.
