Fatcat pay deal stays a mystery

A COUNCIL has slapped a “secrecy” notice on why a top official decided to repay a huge pension deal which left her dubbed Britain's richest town hall fatcat.

Bosses at Glasgow City Council say it's not in the “public interest” to disclose papers showing why Anne-marie O'Donnell decided to hand back part of an “eye watering” £567,317 deal.

The £210,000-a-year chief exec quit early, leaving a £357,845 pension black hole while she would be able to collect her retirement cash years early.
