Club boss's free night buses push

ONE of Scotland's leading nightclub owners has called for a free night bus service in Glasgow this summer to help breathe life into the city centre.

Donald MacLeod, who runs the Cathouse and Garage, wants the service to coincide with the World Cup and Commonwealth Games - with the cost being met by the millions raised from bus lane fines.

He believes it would encourage thousands of football fans and tourists during the major events to socialise in town with a safe and reliable way of getting home.
