FOXES' GHANA DUO HELP COUNTRY THRASH CENTRAL AFRICAN REPUBLIC

- By JORDAN BLACKWELL

ABDUL Fatawu appeared to come through Ghana's 5-0 thrashing of Central African Republic unscathed with the Leicester City winger able to celebrate all but qualifying for next summer’s World Cup.

Fatawu played 76 minutes for his country and had a big grin on his face as he left the pitch, suggesting there were no injury issues for the winger.

Before he flew out, City manager Marti Cifuentes asked Ghana to take care of Fatawu, who was playing for his country for the first time since tearing his ACL last November.
