SMILING St Mirren boss Stephen Robinson insists his Buddies have not looked out of place against any of the Premiership big boys they've faced so far.

The Paisley men have had to contend with a tricky fixture list having started the campaign with clashes against Celtic, Motherwell, Hearts and Rangers.

The Hoops needed an 87th-minute winner to see off Robbos men at Parkhead on the Premiership’s opening day of the campaign.

Saints have now followed that close call with back-to-back draws against Well and Gers. But the Northern Irish gaffer - who also saw his team edge Hearts out of the Premier Sports Cup on penalties - believes his team are more than holding their own against the top sides in the division.
