Driver collared with £2.5m of drugs after speeding on M6

A MAN found with 25kg of cocaine after being pulled over for speeding has been jailed.

Stewart Wilson, of Motherwell, was snared in his grey BMW M3 Competition while driving at speeds of more than 100mph on the M6.

Officers said the 33-year-old "appeared very nervous and anxious" throughout their conversation and "asked if he was going to go to jail".

Wilson also told police "there was something in the boot but he wasn't sure what it was".

The vehicle was searched and officers found the Class A drug, with a street value of approximately £2.5million, in a box.
