The Business Today TOP TWENTY ranking for the year 2010-2011 sets apart the giants who have made their presence felt.
The assessment methodology for corporate governance of the Business Today TOP TWENTY winners is based on disclosures made by companies in their annual reports rated against the basic requirements in Sri Lanka and best practices noted in the UK Code and King III of South Africa.
Held under the patronage of Chief Guest Sarath Amunugama, Senior Minister for International Monetary Cooperation and the Chairman of the 67th session of Economic and Social Commission for Asia-Pacific (ESCAP), a panel of analysts discussed the implications of the Asia-Pacific Trade and Investment Report (APTIR), published by the ESCAP.
