Welcome to our Winter 2018 issue of Autostrada!
2015 was the year we started Autostrada and set our sights on featuring some the best automotive cover stories in the industry. During that time I would periodically announce to Lucas that one day we would feature my idol, Jesse James. Fast forward a few years later as I had the opportunity to speak with Jesse to discuss our publication and while delivering my humble introduction to have him grace the pages of our magazine he replied, “Yah man let’s do it!”
A trip down to his shop located in Dripping Springs, Texas in early October we had the privilege of touring his facility and witnessed the ‘Pope of Welding’ and his crew work their talents on various custom builds, as we conducted our interview with Jesse in his private shop, he was fitting up one of his sought after 1911 .45 caliber pistols for a client and yes he builds more then just custom cars, culinary knives and the coolest motorcycles on the planet. With all his skill, talent and passion Jesse best describes himself as a glorified welder and a true advocate of hard work and perseverance. We are very proud to share this unique feature of one of the most passionate builders you will ever meet.
As old man winter is upon us, stay warm, positive and focused as spring is only 90 days away.
