Although technological advancement has meant faster methods of transport and communication, we are familiar with how it has resulted in wasted creations: the development of smart phones that are similar but vary significantly in price, purchasing methods that have worsened our consumerist habits such as contactless credit cards, thousands applications on devices to order food, and many other inventions that although facilitate some tasks, are clearly the project of marketing giants who want to make profit instead of benefiting human progress. Where have our race’s intelligence and humanity gone, you may ask. But don’t lose hope just yet, Robot Doctors are here to save the day. Yes, you read that correctly, telecommunication technologies are now being used to support the provision of healthcare services, namely through the delivery of virtual medical services that can be done through Robots. In a time when technological advancement has revolutionized the spread of information and the way in which we communicate, the progress of these technologies did not go unnoticed to the healthcare sector.
