Setting the Pratha of Milestones in Preschool Education.
-

There is a lively lilt in her voice revealing her passion for her dream of enhancing T experiential learning through Pratha, a play-way preschool based in the NCR region. A qualified educator with an MA B.Ed. and an Honours Diploma in Compuer Science, Ms Namita Kapoor, Director of Pratha Pre Schools, is focused on transforming society by imparting holistic education to nurture impressionable young minds and build a bright tomorrow for them.
As a parent what has been your experience and observation with children's behavioural pattern?
When it comes to the development of a child, in the first five years their behavioural characteristics are already laid. And by the time a child attains the age of 7 their brain's mapping system, which is a combination of nature and nurture, gets defined. I am the mother of two grown-up daughters, therefore, I can vouch that the values, behavioural patterns and aptitude of a child are largely the totals of influences, teachings and actions that they are exposed to in their formative years.
What has been the motivation for you to embark on this journey?
My family background exposed me from a very young age to the importance of education in shaping an individual's personality very early in life. Hence I wanted to provide a pro-learning ambience to the little ones as they took their first baby steps into the world. I believe that once a child is exposed to a cheerful environment and experiential learning, it is bound to make a successful life tomorrow, and that served as a strong motivation for me to take the plunge as a full-time educator.
As the Director of Pratha Pre Schools, what innovative play-way methodology have you introduced in the school?
