Referring to the article Gen Alpha by Dr. Veena Adige, today’s children are smart, confident, and tech-savvy, surprising their elders with their vast knowledge of the internet. These children, now almost twenty years old, grew up during the Covid pandemic, when they were isolated and their classes were held online. They had access to smartphones, laptops, and computers, which allowed them to learn how to use technology effectively.

However, they have become selfish, indifferent, and reluctant to communicate. They prefer online friends and are often hooked to various virtual sites. Their parents pamper them, fulfilling their desires at the first request, treating them like adults and sometimes covering up their mistakes. Schools, which have turned into money-making institutions, fail to discipline these children, as they are intimidated by influential parents.
