DURING MY FOUR DAYS at the new Sha Wellness Clinic, just north of Cancún, Mexico, I had all manner of things done to my body: I got pumped full of intravenous vitamins, had acupuncture (twice), got slathered in a seaweed wrap, underwent an intravascular fat assessment, tried a Pressotherapy session to drain my lymphatic system, and fell asleep while a machine regenerated my cells with a mild electrical current. And I still had time for a mani-pedi.
Head-to-toe experiences like these are par for the course at the first sibling property of the Sha Wellness Clinic, which opened in Spain's Sierra Helada Natural Park in 2008. The brand has cultivated a following thanks to its signature longevity-boosting programs, which range from four to 21 days.
