Heartbreak for Davies as she will miss Wales' Euro bid

TEENAGE Wales defender Mayzee Davies will miss Euro 2025 after suffering a serious knee injury.

The 18-year-old Manchester City player suffered a rupture to her anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) after falling awkwardly just four minutes into Wales' Nations League defeat in Denmark a week last Friday.
Davies will therefore be absent this summer as Wales play in their first women's major tournament.
