TERMING Dr Babu Jagjivan Ram as a personality who will be always remembered, District Minister D Sudhakar said on Saturday that Jagjivan Ram was not just a politician, but a movement.
He was a strong leader who gave voice to Dalits, backward classes and exploited communities at all stages of his life. Speaking at the 118th birth anniversary celebration of former Deputy Prime Minister Dr Babu Jagjivan Ram and pioneer of the Green Revolution, he said Jagjivan Ram, known throughout the country as 'Babuji', was a stalwart national leader, freedom and social justice fighter and an eminent parliamentary figure.
