Zomato drops colour-coded veg fleet after backlash

The company said it will continue to provide 'Pure Veg Fleet' and 'Pure Veg mode', which carries only vegetarian food items from strict vegetarian restaurants. However, it won't use green-coloured t-shirts for Vegetarian fleets.

The company decided to remove the on-ground segregation of this fleet using the colour green, chief executive Deepinder Goyal said in a post on X (formerly Twitter). All our riders-both our regular fleet, and our fleet for vegetarians, will wear the colour red, he said.
