HEAD coach Alan Dickens admitted it was no thing of beauty, but was nonetheless delighted with Newcastle Red Bulls’ 14-10 home win over the Lions on Saturday.

The EPCR Challenge Cup clash at Kingston Park was battered by the elements as gale-force winds dictated a scrappy affair, but a last-minute winner from Murray McCallum proved the difference as the big prop rumbled over from a pick-and-go down the right.
