All Authorized gets full approval at Plumpton
The Journal
|December 15, 2025
ALL Authorized disappointed as a joint-favourite on his reappearance at Ascot recently but he can fare better with his sights lowered in the G.E.White & Sons Agricultural Buildings Handicap Chase at Plumpton.
Gary and Josh Moore's six-year-old signed off last season with a win over the same course and distance he faces this time but that was over hurdles.
He had previously had two runs over fences without success so there was no point losing his novice status in the spring.
Those two previous outings over bigger obstacles came in relatively hot races won by Vincenzo and Kikijo so there was no disgrace in being beaten given his lowly rating and when he got back to winning ways in April, connections probably felt they could have some fun with him this season.
He never got involved at Ascot as, ridden patiently, he kept making small errors but was still in touch turning into the straight before seemingly blowing up.
He will strip fitter for that run and down in grade, he must have a chance if his jumping holds up.
